About:

I graduated with BAs in Classical Languages and Classical Antiquities in 2021 (minors in History and Anthropology) and an MA in Classics in 2024 from the University of Kansas. While working on my MA at KU, I served as an instructor of record for two years, teaching Introductory Roman History. During my undergraduate career I worked for KU’s Wilcox Classical Museum as their principal photographer and archivist, going on to serve for two years as the museum’s Assistant Curator as a graduate student. My MA thesis, Egyptianizing Rome: Augustan Cosmopolitanism and the Campana Reliefs of the Wilcox Classical Museum, examined several Egyptianizing Campana Relief fragments in the Wilcox Museum collection. Arguing that the fragments originated from the Augustan Palatine complex, I then explored questions symbolism and cross-cultural meaning within the overarching Augustan cultural program.

My academic interests are broad, ranging from Roman political, military, social, and economic history to Greek and Roman archaeology, art history, ancient philosophy (particularly Stoicism), and museum studies.

When I’m not working or studying, you can find me at the beach, playing my guitar, or gaming.
