About:

He received a B.A. in Classics and English Literature from Arizona State University in 2016. He finished a M. A. in Classics from the University of Arizona in 2020, with a thesis entitled “Lament Scenes in Xenophon of Ephesus: A Study in Self-fashioning.” His interests are primarily in ancient fiction (currently Heliodorus), and Greek and Roman comedy, especially New Comedy. He especially likes considering the intersections of the two genres in ancient fiction, especially the treatment of trickery, deception, and how that relates to the characterization of sex workers.
