Before starting my PhD in Classical Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2024, I graduated in History (2021) from the University of Brasilia, Brazil. I then obtained my MA in Philosophy from the same university in 2024. In my thesis, I analyzed and translated the Hippocratic treatise “On Generation/On the Nature of the Child” from a gender perspective.

My research interests include the application of feminist theory and queer theory as a way of approaching ancient authors.
