Isadora Costa Fernandes
About:
Isadora Costa Fernandes started her PhD in Classical Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2024. She graduated in History (2021) from the University of Brasilia (UnB), Brazil and earned her MA in Philosophy in 2024 (UnB). In her thesis, she analyzed and translated the Hippocratic treatise, “On Generation/On the Nature of the Child” from a gender perspective. She is interested in feminist and queer theory applied to ancient sources. In her free time, she likes to watch movies, lift weights, and play with her cat.
