The intended purpose of this event is to allow you to gain more information about UCSB, specific departments of interest, and institutional initiatives around diversity. We understand that it is difficult to get a sense of departments given the current limitations of online-only events. We hope this will be helpful.
Each workshop will conclude with a departmental-specific break-out, in our case an opportunity to speak with Classics Graduate Advisor Robert Morstein-Marx and Graduate Program Assistant Anna Roberts.
Zoom invitations will be issued in the week before the talk.
Join us online for a dialogue between Helen Morales (Classics) and Vilna Bashi-Treitler (Black Studies) about Morales’ new book, Antigone Rising: The Subversive Power of the Ancient Myths.
Free to attend. Registration is required to receive Zoom webinar attendance link. To register, please click here.
